Job requirements

Freelance consultant to support the setup of a transformation office and the creation of a transformation roadmap for one of KKR's portfolio businesses in Australia within the wealth management sector. The consultant has to work closely with senior stakeholders from the portfolio company as well as with KKR's team. The initial engagement is for approximately 3 months, with the potential for extension or a permanent position based on business needs and the consultant's performance.

The candidate began their career as a Senior Mining Engineer before transitioning into management consulting at McKinsey, where they advised major Australian corporations. They then led corporate development at Fairfax Digital, driving strategy and growth for its suite of websites, and were subsequently promoted to General Manager of Online News and Sections. They founded and successfully grew a wealth management firm, later advising high-net-worth clients at Westpac Private Bank. As an independent consultant, they specialized in business strategy, financial analytics, and transformational projects.
