However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland. If you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

If you are a business, these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

17. GDPR compliance of customers and suppliers

We require all suppliers to confirm that they are compliant with GDPR. We also require all employer customers using movemeon to confirm that they are compliant with GDPR. This is covered in the terms of use that every employer agrees before using movemeon. The specific clause in the terms is as follows:

The Customer shall use all reasonable endeavours to comply with all applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (and any amendments to it) and other similar national privacy laws as regards any data (including candidate data) shared by the Supplier, either through the www.movemeon.com website(s) or emails.

We do not accept liability for breaches of GDPR made by suppliers or employer customers.
