New generation of multi-channel retail – why retail experience is no longer a pre-requisite

Multi-channel retailing is growing fast, yet is often over-looked by many who haven’t got eCommerce or retail experience. What we’ve found to be very refreshing, is the attitude that these employers have shown towards attracting bright and analytical generalists, who don’t have deep retail expertise; they realize that a number of different professional backgrounds are very well suited to this “new generation” of retail jobs.
